Description: “In a mother’s embrace, Is God’s grace.” Every child’s first love is his/her mother. Love blossomed in St. Nursery School on 10th May when Mother’s Day was celebrated. The bond between a mother and a child is a special one. We, at school tried to depict this love through words and art. The little ones with the help of their teachers made colourful ‘Pasta Strings’ for their loving mothers to celebrate the different shades of a mother’s love. They sang and danced on the number ‘I love you Mommy’ for their loving mothers. Children were also given a chance to express their gratitude to their mothers during the morning assembly. Students of Class 1 and 2 added a touch of sweetness to strengthen their bonds of love. They made ‘sparkling sweets’ as a treat for the superheroes of their lives, their sweet mothers. Teaching the importance of gratitude to the little ones is an important step in learning, and this school acknowledges the everlasting efforts of a mother. St Nursery School wishes all the mothers a Happy Mother’s Day.
